Perfect Moment Monday: Squeals
Perfect Moment Monday is more about noticing a perfect moment than about creating one. Perfect moments can be momentous or ordinary or somewhere in between.
Please visit the links of the participants at the bottom.
====================================
I’m showing photos but it was really the soundtrack that gave me a perfect moment this week. You should have heard the giggles.
Reed and his cousin, Dominic, were playing in the sprinkler and having pure summer fun. Their squeals of delight led me to a moment perfect with childhood simplicity, fond memories, lightheartedness, and sensory joy.

Dammit, this post just cost me a future $500,000-$1,000,000 you beotch! Do you know what houses with yards COST in Vancouver? AAAAA! And if i don’t have a yard, Tiny B can’t play in the sprinkler and squeal! I always thought he could play at the beach a block away, which is good, but no sprinkler? No child should grow up without a sprinkler! AAAAAAA!

The day after we got home the sun was in RARE form!!! We did four different water actitvites in one day: Lake, Pool, Sprinkler and Swimming Hole.
I nearly peed my pants from the giggles all of us had just reveling in the sun!!!
Missed you much!!

I can totally hear the squeals. And, um, I swear I didn’t read this before I wrote out my own perfect moment. It’s just that time of year.

I can’t vouch for Dominic, but Reed has one of the all-time best giggles.
